What is Moxie?

I’ve had a lot of people online ask me what the word moxie means. Moxie is actually a word defined by Dictionary.com as “vigor, verve, skill, know-how” but I like to say moxie is that word that describes someone who has it. It’s not a conceited term nor is it a term of self-indulgence. It’s a term of someone who knows what’s going on… someone who has the skill and know how to make life work. And I feel like I have it. Moxie.
Some friends that I went to college with coined the term for me and I’m happy to say that I’ve now brought the word with me into the world wide web. Sure, moxie may be mentioned somewhere else, but it’s not really moxie.
When I decided to start my own blog, I prepared by reading countless articles on blogging. I read how to have a successful blog and I read how to not have a successful blog. I read how to make money by blogging and I read how to keep your blog interesting without having to spam it with ads everywhere. I don’t have a real agenda with this blog and it may only get read by three people. I don’t care. My goal is to be true to myself, honest, fun and to write about the topics I deem important yet moxie. I hope you will join with me and be a regular subscriber. Here’s to you, moxies!!!
