Earth Day 2008: A Moxie Series (pt 2)
Monday, April 21st, 2008As part of dedicating my blog towards Earth Day 2008, I wanted to find an organization that would help me make a difference to this world. I found the perfect one! The Nature Conservancy is doing a campaign called “Plant a Billion Trees: one dollar, one tree, one planet.” It’s a fantastic cause!
For every $1.00 you donate ($10.00 minimum), the Nature Conservancy will plant one tree in your name in the rain forests of Brazil. It is SO easy to donate… so please, take the time to read their campaign and donate just $10.00 for 10 trees to be planted in your name (you can definitely donate more than $10.00 if you want)!
