Google Makes Free WiFi At Airports
Tuesday, November 10th, 2009In an announcement from Google this week (the one last week can be found here), they announced that they are working with airports across the country as well as Boingo wireless, which is a wireless hotspot provider, to provide free wifi access to all major airports for the holiday season.
Wow, that’s huge. Most airport wifi hotspots can cost anywhere from $7/hour or even $20/day and Google and Boingo are “giving back” during the holiday season, which coicidentally coincides with the busiest time of air traffic (Thanksgiving through Christmas holidays).
So, if you’re interested in which airports will be participating in the free Google wifi hotspots during your travel, make sure to check out Moxie Mo Show episode 110. We will be providing you with all the information possible and you can find out more there. Go Google! Happy Holidays!
