According to AT&T’s press release today, they will begin “unlocking” MMS for iPhone 3G/3GS users on the West Coast in the morning and working its way to the east coast “later in the afternoon.” There will be instructions on how to update your phone (more than likely via iTunes) to get this feature that we’ve been waiting for…. months!

Thanks AT&T. Finally, let’s hope.

I tweeted this morning that I thought it was odd that AT&T is now offering the iPhone 3G online, meaning home activation (as they did with the iPhone 1.0 a year ago). I then even sent a tip to TUAW.com, one of my favorite blogs, but they never responded. So I thought maybe I was the idiot – maybe it was ME who just didn’t know this breaking news…

Well, it’s now Thursday evening and all the major blogs are “breaking” the news about it. Looks like I can pat myself on the back – I broke the news (as you can see in my tweet). So the morale to the story, you don’t need a big boy blog to catch up on all the latest and greatest… you just need the Moxie Mo (and Jeff McCord’s Blog!)
