So for those of us covering every minute of the Consumer Electronics Show, you’ll soon read some very exciting news (well, it’s exciting to me at least).  According to Engadget, TRENDnet announced that there will be a wireless router upgrader for anyone who’s interested in speeding up their home wireless network.

What makes this unique is that consumers will not have to go out and buy a new wireless router (802.11n).  According to TRENDnet, all you have to do is buy their upgrade and it will change/upgrade your router to 802.11n which can make your browsing increase by twelve times the speed.  It will also give you six times the coverage (for those of us who like to surf the net from our cars! Just kidding…)

We’re not sure when this will hit the retail stores but as soon as it does, I have a feeling a lot of novices and pros will be buying this… if it’s as easy as it sounds.  It’s also supposed to be pretty inexpensive in regards to wireless routers (802.11n) .  And it’s good for the environment (not producing more routers in this world or a huge increase of routers in the trash!)
