Comments on: iTunes Crashes When Syncing iPhone 2.2.1

I tried this and I still get “sorry for the inconvenience iTunes needs to close etc” The device does not even show up on the left pand
It is the latest version of iTunes 10.1.1 and the phone is one day old.
Can anyone help?

I solved my particular problem — Itunes was hanging at the point where it was syncing a file called something like 2348239482734 43027.mp4 or whatever. Anyway, I deleted all Voice Memos from my iphone and it now syncs just fine. I suppose one or more of the Voice Memo files was corrupt.

Thanks for posting this solution, it appears to be working just fine. I had reset my iPod Touch and reinstalled iTunes to no avail. Now all my files are synchronizing without a crash.
