I want to only say this about this video by James Pence: it makes you think. There seems to be a lot of truth in what he’s saying, regardless if you stand on the right or the left.
What are your thoughts? Does James have a point in what he’s trying to say? Leave a comment…

I do have to say Thank you Jesus! That I have had the chance to live in America. (and not sarcastically, like in the video) America isn't perfect and never has been under any president! I do believe that there is a lot of corruption and that is a sickness that goes from the top of Americas government all the way down to the people living on the streets. Just about everyone is looking out for number one and could care less about anything or anyone else. The sickness I believe can be defined to greed, selfishness and a total lack of personal responsibility (no accountability). Foreclose on peoples homes? This falls under personal responsibility or lack there of. Why and how is the governments fault that many people went out and got loans for one hundred ten percent of their homes value on a ARM that was going to rise to a point they knowing could not afford after two years? This falls to the person that took that loan out. They wanted a house, but couldn't afford the one they bought. That isn't the governments fault. Devalue the dollar. Oh, yes this one makes lots of sense. Devalue the one thing that separates the rich from the poor. We are all people no matter how you think, act or live, no matter color, class or standing. But money, the dollar, is one thing that the people in power have that makes them different then the rest. This is one thing that the rich would leave alone. The more they have the more happy they are and the more power they can buy. Outsourcing. Well this is an issue that does suck for a lot of people. I would rather one hundred percent of the stuff that I buy come from the USA. I've got to say that this comes down to corporate greed. The guys in the nice shiny suits and ties collecting millions in salaries a year are the driving force behind this. This comes down to people like you and me wanting more profit. Is the government part of it? Sure of course, left and right. Education unaffordable? I'm sure what dude is talking about here. Education is affordable, but in this country it sucks! We need major education reform. Higher standards, higher teacher pay, better classrooms. The works. I say we take money from prisons and forward it to our schools. Health care, again I believe health care needs one hundred percent reform. But again I have to say that this is about corporation greed. Hospitals becoming corporations that compete is a cazy idea. That drives the cost of health through the roof and has. "Free" health care is NOT the answer. I think that anyone that supports "free" (or lets call it what it is, tax funded health care) needs to visit France. Get out of paris and really talk to the people that depend on Frances health care system. I have and it is a scary deal. Our government seems really ineffective at getting lots of stuff done, so I love it when conspiracy videos like this one come out. They give our highly ineffective government so much credit. Should we question our government? Without a doubt, YES! But we also should get off our complacent butts and do something. The squeaky wheels gets fixed, they say. We have sadly become a large group un-united whiners, that whine from our sofas while watching the nightly news, and conveniently forget about whatever it was we where pissed about as we head off to our large family rooms to surf the net and watch pointless videos on youtube and play playstation 3 all night in our air conditioned 4000 sq feet homes. We are a overly blessed nation. God has blessed us and protected us greatly! So much so that we have turned into nothing more then a bunch of selfish, greedy unaccountable people from top to the bottom. It reminds of me of Numbers 11. Number 11 is something that will get you thinking. Was it a warning to us? I donno.

David's comment got me thinking more than the video did. We need to take a long look at ourselves, not our government. If you really really wanted to be rich, you could be. You could right now go back to school and learn to be a doctor or a lawyer or anything you wanted to. You could scale the heights and collect lots of money. Poor people in America like to blame the rich people for their problems. The real problem is they are lazy. I am not rich. I'm only a teenager. But, I'm not blaming any rich person for being rich, or for wanting more money. I think David is right. This is all about greed. Americans need to work harder and be more content. God (is real) has blessed us a whole lot! So far this year none of my family has died in car bombings or has been slaughtered by genocide. I am very thankful to God for letting me grow up in America!

Ben and Dave, you both have great points… but this isn't about "blaming the government" per se. This is about AMERICANS who think we're so much better off because we invaded Iraq and therefore, our threat of a terrorist attack has diminished. Also, terrorism isn't just about flying planes into a building. That's the author's point: you can view where we are as a country (now) and see that things aren't going well. They haven't been going well for quite some time. That's what I, at least, took from the video.

It is about blaming the Greedy Lying people that supported the economic downfall of the American Poor. Its about Greed, power and corruption. The guy just described the Bush team and the terrorist actions inflicted on the people of the USA by its own Republican Demons. The first time I saw that speech I wondered if some people would actualy have some other spin on it?

True, but entertaining, as are many of your blogs. I read through the archives over the last few days, and I must say I think Im found a new bookmark.
