Flip Announces The Mino HD!

In a surprising announcement late last night, The New York Times announced that the Flip Video Camera, which has taken the digital camcorder industry by storm, is coming out with a new Flip Mino HD. The camcorder is said to be 3.3 oz and according to the NY Times, the Flip has beautiful high-definition and amazingly performs well!
The Flip Mino HD will cost $230 which is one of the cheapest HD camcorders out there. As most know, a good HD video cam is easily $700 to $1,000 these days. If the Flip Mino HD truly creates great high definition video, this will revolutionize the HD industry.

Oh, I hope this is true! I was going to ask for a Flip for Christmas, but then I was reading reviews and learned that the video quality wasn’t any better than that of my digital camera’s video feature (which is quite good for a little point and shoot). So, I crossed it off the list. If the Mino HD does shoot beautiful video, I’m gonna grab one!!
