Defining Moxie in a Digital Age

All right my readers, my new header graphic is up and running (thanks to Mike Cherim who did a wonderful job on the header/masthead image! Click here for his site if you need help!)

My goal pushing forward is to bring you, my readers, the moxiest information on the web. Whether that be politics, tech information, recruiting information, how to get job, life and society or just whatever is making me feel MOXIE, you’ll be the first to know!

Leave me a comment below and let me know TWO things about you: (1) Why are you moxie? What defines you as moxie? (2) What do you want to read about on this moxie blog?

Thanks friends!!!

Jeff

Ok, I'll answer your questions buddy. I am moxie because I like the person I am and enjoy having fun. Gone are the days of thinking what others think about what I wear, how I act or who my friends are. I think Moxie is the confidence in yourself to be your own person. I would like to see stories, ideas, issues on here that show how each individual person has moxie. We don't have to agree that is part of the fun I think, two people can be totally different and view an idea two different ways and still be moxie, just have to accept other views.

What the hell is a Moxie? :P

Moxie is a yiddish term. You appear to me (as your name is Jeff is a dead giveaway) that you are a nice gentile boy. So please refer to it as ballsy courage. Moxie (apart from the soda that tastes like it had pencil shavings in it) along with chutzpah, ferklempt, plotz and other nice yiddish terms sounds ever so fooloish coming from gentiles. Just as using cajonnes when you are as much hispanic as the prime minister of Japan, is foolish as well. As for what goes on this blog.. eh put anything you want. You have to type it.

So you're saying I can't be Jewish? Damn.
