AT&T Nows Offers iPhone 3g Online (At Home Activation)

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

I tweeted this morning that I thought it was odd that AT&T is now offering the iPhone 3G online, meaning home activation (as they did with the iPhone 1.0 a year ago). I then even sent a tip to TUAW.com, one of my favorite blogs, but they never responded. So I thought maybe I was the idiot - maybe it was ME who just didn’t know this breaking news…

Well, it’s now Thursday evening and all the major blogs are “breaking” the news about it. Looks like I can pat myself on the back - I broke the news (as you can see in my tweet). So the morale to the story, you don’t need a big boy blog to catch up on all the latest and greatest… you just need the Moxie Mo (and Jeff McCord’s Blog!)

Proof I tweeted about story earlier this morning!

Moxiest Episode Yet

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

As most of you know, my brother passed away from colon cancer in 2005 at the age of 33. Obviously, this disease is my #1 worst enemy and it’s time to STAND UP TO CANCER

Please take 6 minutes and watch the latest Moxie Mo Show (Episode 21) so you can know more about Stand Up To Cancer AND also buy the moxie iTunes song that supports this great cause.

There’s also some great discussion about Gov Palin’s controversial post I wrote as well as a few moxie technology items to discuss!

Why I’m Leaving BlogCatalog

bcjpg Why Im Leaving BlogCatalog

For the four of you who even know what Blog Catalog is, I just wanted to say that I’ve asked for the admin to delete my account. The place is filled with some really intelligent and very nice people but unfortunately there are a few (markstoneman, ender) who love to moderate what bloggers discuss and then cry to the admins when one sticks up for their own discussion thread. Something happened this morning that I won’t even bore you with but lets just say it had markstoneman and a friend of his calling me names on Twitter. It was quite funny, to be honest.

Needless to say, I am deleting my account as I feel like BlogCatalog’s admins don’t do their job and allow these jerks to ruin a really once-prominent community.

Again, those of you who read my blog religiously won’t care, I know… but just thought I’d explain why I am leaving that community. If you recall my beef with YouTube a few months ago, it’s almost similar except the biggest jerk on BlogCatalog is an adult male who acts like a 3rd grader. It’s humorous to a point, but I so don’t need to waste my energy on good blog posts and discussions when this guy is allowed to be a negative jerk to everyone who posts on there. Trust me, I’m one of several who feel this way.

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! Tracking Gustav and watching the weather reports has literally exhausted me but I am SO HAPPY that it wasn’t as bad as what it could be! Thank you Lord!

Bigfoot and Others Captured: Real or Hoax?

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Literally, in one month’s time, the world has seen “evidence” of three unheard creatures that for centuries were nothing but legends and stories. Could all these crypto zoologists be finally authenticated after spending years upon years trying to prove the real monsters do exist?

Last month, something washed up upon the shore in the Hamptons, last week a policemen video captured a chupacabra in South Texas and yesterday, the announcement came out that a Bigfoot carcass has been captured and is currently undergoing DNA testing. The results come out tomorrow.

What are your thoughts? According to scientists, only FIVE PERCENT of the world’s oceans have been explored so surely there are creatures in the ocean that man has yet to see. Most of us, though, think all of land has thoroughly been traversed, but until you’ve ever been lost in the woods in Oklahoma, you’ll soon realize that the world can be a huge place.

Here are the supposed pictures of the three hunters who found the Bigfoot specimen. Shall this change history tomorrow or will this all just be a stupid hoax? Time shall tell.

Moxie Mo Show: Episode 9

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

We’re still having a blast in Destin, Florida! Thank you all for the comments and emails, I appreciate each and every one of them. I hesitated making this episode because in all honesty, it has NOTHING to do with computers or techy-news, but it does show my most favorite animal in the world doing some fun tricks. We went to the Gulfarium, the nation’s oldest aquarium, to see the dolphins and sharks and sea lions OH MY! It was NO Sea World… but it was fun.

Also, a gorgeous night shot in the waters of Destin, Florida. Finally, the ocean waves had picked up and the current was strong… the way I like it! I hope you enjoy!

Also, I want to pay respect and honor to Randy Pausch’s family. A man who was so smart, so witty and who made the best lecture of life I have ever seen. He passed away this weekend from his courageous battle with cancer. He was an instant celeb on YouTube and Oprah and he deserves all of us to watch his Last Lecture.
