Apple Responds to iTunes Sync Crash Issue
I wrote earlier what I believed to be a personal fix to the iTunes sync-crashing issue that has plagued thousands of iPod and iPhone users in the last four days. Today, Apple sent me an email detailing the issue and their suggestion on how to fix it, and it looks very similar to what I posted two days ago:
Dear Customer,
Recently, we uncovered an issue which was causing iTunes to unexpectedly quit when synced with an iPod or an iPhone. This issue impacted a small number of users, and we have identified your account as potentially being affected.
If you have experienced this issue, please follow these steps in order to sync your iPod or iPhone with iTunes:
1. Launch iTunes
2. Select “Deauthorize Computer” from the Store menu
3. Enter your iTunes Store Account ID and Password, then click the Deauthorize button
4. Next, choose “Authorize Computer” from the Store menu
5. Enter your iTunes Store Account ID and Password, then click the Authorize button
Once you have successfully deauthorized and reauthorized your computer, you should be able to sync your iPod or iPhone to iTunes.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced as a result of this issue.
Thank you for being an iTunes Store customer.

Wish that Itunes will have a log up on which song an error occured instead of the “WERb7a7.dir00\iTunes.exe.mdmp” and “WERb7a7.dir00\appcompat.txt” crap. Tell us WHICH SONG crashed because sometimes it just crashes RIGHT when you put it in to sync. Yeah it chose that ONE bad song to sync FIRST out of the other 2000 songs that need to be synced into my 160GB Ipod!

I wish to show my respect for your kindness for women who should have assistance with that issue. Your personal dedication to getting the message all-around came to be rather functional and have constantly enabled folks just like me to get to their dreams. Your new warm and friendly useful information signifies a great deal a person like me and a whole lot more to my office workers. Best wishes; from everyone of us.

Reauthorising computer did not solve a problem. I am experiencing iTunes crash every time I want to sync video films on my iPad 2.

Reauthorizing did not work with my iPad2 either, it crashed iTunes when it “Analyzes photo library” part of the sync, HELP! I can only sync apps, mail and photos, no music, ringtones or video
