A New Earth: Oprah’s New Book Choice
Regardless of what you think of Oprah (personally, she’s one of my heroes), you can not deny her influence she has in the world especially when it comes to choosing books. I, myself, am not necessarily an avid book reader. My Mom is but I have never been. I will say, though, after watching Oprah’s show today, I can NOT wait to get a hold of her new book club’s choice — A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose (click on the link to read more about it)
Why did I decide to write about this? Simple. Oprah announced today on her show that she will be holding her first ever web class regarding this book. She and author Eckhart Tolle will be conducting this web class for ten weeks (every Monday night) starting Monday, March 3rd, 2008.
The best part? Anyone around the world can reserve a “seat” in her interactive classroom. So sign up now. I really feel, in my soul, that this book and Oprah’s interactive class will literally change me from inside to outside. And let’s be REAL honest with ourselves… in this day and age, we need some spiritual enlightenment no matter how it comes.

Dear Oprah, My name is Brenda lotz and I feel I'm in a big black hole. I know being happy is the best medicine but how can anyone get their when your husband keeps pushing you further into it. The kids where home from school today from the big snow strom we recievd so I flipped the TV channels and saw your show on Feb. 6, 2008 hoping get some answers to make me happy. Please help me! I agree that although Oprah can be a little much, her influence cannot be denied. Since my mother died I've been feeling lower than I ever have in my life and a co-worker told me about her book pick A New Earth. I decided that I'm so desperate that I'd give it a try. Just an update my friends: I'm on Chapter 6 and I watch Oprah's webclass every Monday… this book is life changing. Truly!
